Turning a LUT down by half would be a value of 0.5. Key Output controls the opacity for that node (and the LUT applied to the node). Open the Key panel from the panels toolbar. The CDNG support in Lightworks is not sophisticated enough or of high enough quality at this point for direct finishing. Apply the LUT by dragging and dropping from the LUT browser to a node in the node graph. This will eliminate transcoding footage I don't use in the edits saving a ton of machine time and disk space. Finish the edit with FX and titles, export to delivery formats. Then export to a high quality mezzanine codec and replace the DNG proxies with the graded video in the edit. I am having issues installing Davinci Resolve due to a resolveinstaller.msi file not being found. The next step will be to rough cut the footage, export an EDL or AAF/XML file to Resolve and do full color grade of the timeline. You only need to copy the LUTs you added, since Resolve will reinstall it’s core base of LUTs. V12.5 added cdng import and support for 3D luts in several formats. I've been experimenting with Lightworks 12.5.e beta this morning importing DNG clips directly and applying a 3dlut exported from the same clip in Resolve. Easily add FilmConvert into your existing workflow and in just a few clicks, you are able to choose from 19 motion and still film stocks crafted and optimized.
